In recent years, models have been introduced one after the other in line with Peugeot's new image. After the 508, 208 and 2008 updates, the 3008 was also renewed. The previous second-generation 2016 model was a great success (more than 800,000 pieces were made of it), but the time had come to upgrade the car.
The new image of the brand
Several similarities can be discovered both inside and outside in the latest Peugeot models. One of the most striking changes in the cars is the extension of the first LED light, which symbolizes a lion’s sword teeth. In addition to the front ones, the rear headlights are also the same, the brand-specific lion claws now appear in 3D.
Beside the exterior style features, there are also similarities in the interior design between the models. The brand’s latest models feature the new-generation Peugeot i-Cockpit, which includes a small steering wheel, a high-mounted instrument cluster and a 10-inch HD central touch screen. But of course, the brand’s distinctive “piano keys” are also present on the center console. These buttons are responsible for setting the audio system, air conditioning, 3D navigation system, telephone and mobile applications.
The latest 3008 model
In addition to the innovations just mentioned, a striking change from the previous series is that the grille has been enlarged so that the fresh design symbolizes the scratching of a cat. Colors have also been innovated, some previous colors (Gold, Copper, Amazonite Grey, Hurricane Grey, Magnetic Blue) have been replaced with new ones (Célѐbes Blue, Vertigo Blue, Platinum Grey), and "classic" shades remain available in the palette (Pearl White, Artense Grey, Perla Negra Black, Ultimate Red). There’s also an add-on pack called the “Black Pack” that includes extra "dark" style elements.

In addition to the unique night vision system in the compact SUV segment, automatic lane departure warning, emergency braking and advanced panel recognition are also available to drivers.
From a motor point of view, there has been no huge change, as the models are also available in Puretech petrol (130 hp 1.2 liter 3-cylinder and 180 hp 1.6 liter 4-cylinder) and BlueHDi diesel (130 hp 1.5-liter 4-cylinder) formats. The new Peugeot 3008 is available with two new plug-in hybrid engines too.
